Well, now that Ella has started eating solid foods, we had to share some more details on how that is going. On the plus side, she just devours every bit of rice cereal there is in the bowl. On the other hand, today, we found out that the same doesn’t hold true for peas.

Yes, we know that Ella is wearing a Halloween bib, and we know that it’s St. Patrick’s Day. We thought that she would get into the spirit of the holiday and enjoy a green feast this afternoon. Instead, she decided to show us some faces that are usually reserved for Halloween.

Here’s a look we’ve seen from Ella a lot lately.  It seems like she tries something new with that little mouth every day — whether it’s an eating, smiling, or even a squealing trick.

We’re trying to figure out what she’s doing with her left hand in the photo, too.  It must be an important thought she’s trying to convey.  Any good ideas?  Leave a comment below with your guesses…

Here they are again.  One of these two is always making the other one laugh, cry, bark, or fall awkwardly.  This time, Cassie is showing off her full-blown “howl”.  And, as usual, Ella just thinks that it’s hysterical.
