Horsey-ing Around

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

Ella is managing to keep the winter blues away, with the help of a new friend, that she likes to call “Horsey”. This special toy is only at Grandma and Grandpa’s house for now, but we’ve ordered a new one that should be here any day.

“Watch me ride my horsey in this video! Just click the photo to see it.”

“I spend much of my time at home being silly in Mommy’s hat and gloves…”

“…and showing off my new trick — standing on my head…”

“…and occasionally, I get to ride around, looking generally cool.”

I’m telling you — this girl is ready for spring. We all are!

Subtitle: Another cupcake bites the dust!

v1

Valentine’s Day came early for Ella — and a yummy cupcake with chocolate frosting was just the treat for her to enjoy, devour, and destroy.

Aaaaaahhhh!! Can’t have a cupcake without milk!!!

I live for days like these.

Love ya, everybody!!

My first Mardi Gras

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

A little over a week ago, I got to see my first Mardi Gras parade, and of course, we went to Soulard for the Dog Parade. Here I am, all ready to go, with my stuffed doggie Gretel.

I couldn’t believe that all of these dogs were on the same street!! And for some reason, I was very popular today, and everyone gave me pretty beads to put around my neck!

If you think those beads are cool, you should see my rainbow-colored feather boa!

Here I am with our dogs — Cassie, Sara, and Hannah. Well, Cassie is my dog, and the other two live with Grandma, but I like when they come for a visit!

(One more thing — the Labrador on the right side of the photo is Siggy, who belongs to my daddy’s friend, Barb. Her other Lab just missed making it into the photo, but his name is Bob. Unlike Cassie, Bob and Siggy are much bigger than me, but I still like them!)
